Travels with Kushala:
Outside and Inside

My name is Kushala Kelly Sharp. I have been a seeker since before I knew I was a seeker. I've had a series of "coming home" experiences that helped to make that clear to me. The first was during my first Svaroopa® yoga class in 2000. My teacher held my head during Shavasana adjustments and I softened into that support in a way I had never softened before. I continued to soften into the support of Svaroopa® yoga's trademark blankets and precisely aligned poses for the remainder of the class. I've been softening into the support of Svaroopa® yoga ever since.

A more recent coming home experience happened during my first visit to Ganeshpuri, India in 2019. The pandemic prevented my return until February of 2023. I returned again in March of 2024. And will return again in January of 2025. There is something about India that resonates deeply inside of me. I've tried to share that here - enjoy!
