Travels with Kushala:
Outside and Inside

My name is Kushala Kelly Sharp. I have been a seeker since before I knew I was a seeker. I've had a series of "coming home" experiences that helped to make that clear to me. The first was during my first Svaroopa® yoga class in 2000. My teacher held my head during Shavasana adjustments and I softened into that support in a way I had never softened before. I continued to soften into the support of Svaroopa® yoga's trademark blankets and precisely aligned poses for the remainder of the class. I've been softening into the support of Svaroopa® yoga ever since.

A more recent coming home experience happened during my first visit to Ganeshpuri, India in 2019. I have been aching to return ever since. I would have been there before now, were it not for the pandemic. I am so excited to be returning! This blog has been a long time in the making. For now, it'll serve as a space for you to join me on my pilgrimage to India. Who knows what the future holds?
